Best Wood Carving Multitools on Amazon!

Maybe you are a camper, hiker, or just someone like me who enjoys a random carving session wherever you are at. Having a nifty carving tool in your pocket can make an ok day a good day really fast!

There are a few types of carving multitools on the market, and they are primarily dominated by Flexcut, but there are some differences for ya to consider too, so lets go over them really quick!

I also have a video at the bottom of the page reviewing these wonderful tools if you want to see more about them! You may want to check it out as there is a reason why not all of the tools in the video are on this page.

Best All Around – Flexcut Carvin’ Jack 2.0

If you want the best of them all, the Flexcut Carvin’ Jack is without a doubt the best on the market.

It has all the bells and whistles, 6 different carving tools, locking blades, comfortable handle, leather sheath, and a custom slip strop designed specifically to work with the Carvin’ Jack!

Seriously, this is a slick tool AND they have both right and left handed versions for it! Here’s the link to check them out: https://amzn.to/3VSNFS0

Best for the Budget – SMAZINSTAR Carving Tool

These guys are basically direct copies of the Flexcut Carvin’ Jack 1.0 versions! There are other copies out there, but these are the better variants.

They don’t come with all the extra goodies like a sheath or slip strop, nor are they as sharp and have all the bells and whistles like a locking blade, but they are cheap and they are decent. If you are on a budget, pick up one of these and start carving.

Best Bang for the Buck – Flexcut Pocket Jack 2.0

If you like the Carvin’ Jack, but not its price, give its baby brother a shot!

The Pocket Jack is just the lighter version of the Carvin’ Jack and at a lower price point! It has all the nice things like locking blades and comfortable handle, but 2 less tools, no sheath, and no strop. Still, its a good candidate for a “throw it in your pocket and go” kinda day! Best for Spoon Carving – Flexcut Spoon Jack 2.0

If you are a spoon carver on the go and just want a specialized pocket carver for that task alone, the Spoon Jack is where it’s at!

This is basically just like the Pocket Jack, but the tools are specifically chosen for spoon carving. Trust me, this is a really nice tool! Pick one up here: https://amzn.to/4aMy0aV

Video Review!

I have a problem and I buy a lot of carving tools, so I might as well show them in a video!
